At KC Custom Rods we use the very best materials available. When we glue a handle or a reel seat on a rod it stays on. The thread and epoxy that we use to put guides on is the very best and will not yellow or allow moisture to get under the guide or to the thread resulting in a water tight seal to keep the guides from rusting. All of this results in a rod that will last a lifetime if proper care is taken with your new custom rod.
